Linguistic reflection

Sustainable development is a highly interdisciplinary and, in particular, transdisciplinary field of research that requires special attention to language, its use and its mechanisms of action. These modules encourage reflection on language and its role in scientific work, particularly in the context of sustainable development, with the aim of achieving more conscious language use. No prior knowledge of linguistics is required, and the modules are suitable for students of all disciplines. This language reflection was developed as part of the Language Compass in collaboration with the CDE.
